Very closed. Acidic, with a short finish and light nose. Not worth the price at this point in time. May develop over time but not a pleasant wine to drink at this point.

Drinking well with its big, rich flavors & beautiful aromatics showing dark cherry, berry, lots of spice, game, iron, underbrush, pepper & floral notes

Beautiful vintage for N Rhone that is still youthful with a perfumed nose of black cherry, strawberry fruit, graphite, smoke, meat, dried herbs, olive, pepper & violet

Still needs more time

Cracked open an Owc tonight that I had purchased 6 yrs ago. Still fairly tight needing more years showing dark berry fruits, spice, menthol, licorice & tobacco notes

Very nice overall but if I’m being honest a bit under expectations. Aromatically brilliant, with dark petal flowers and earth and a bit of sweet dark red fruit. Just before the finish the palate falls apart a bit - just missing that extra gear. Still an excellent pairing with the steak in the background (prime dry aged rib eye from Hudson and Charles). Decanted for 2 hours but not sure it made a huge difference, didn’t change much in the glass.

Coravin open 8 weeks very fresh oak comes through a bit ...bottom line it works
