Such a sensual Volnay. Ripe and "big" but a whole lot of polish and round inviting fruit too. This just got more and more expressive as the evening progressed. Quite dark in the glass but more of a bright red fruit profile. An earthy, mineral driven wine with depth and style. Decant.
