1988. I've had I think six 1988 Sauternes in the last year or two and they're all spectacular, with lots of life left. This is super concentrated, peachy/tangerine, very fresh/bright & not very botrytis-y,

Interesting wine. Started off with a very small nose. Not much except for some herbal, woodsy. Pine? Then the nose opened up. High-pitched fruit, particularly tropical fruits. Still some herbal notes on the palate.
