Les Barres Extra Brut Champagne Pinot Noir

It is almost unfair to compare this to all other wines. Delicious.

Degorgement 05/2013, 100% Munier, slight copper hue, quite intense/rich for Extra Brut, great complexity, slight phenols on the finish which makes sense considering the varietal. Great food champagne.

Best champagne I have had in a while. 100% ungrafted Meunier vines.

Disgorge 2013. Complex aromas of hazelnut and brioche. Slight oxidative hint which made it full bodied and in a good drinking spot. Thanks Jill!

Great plummy flavors with marzipan and roasted pecans o top of red apples and roasted quince. #sogood

This was in an awkward phase again. The 06s are hit and miss.

Nose of toasted chestnuts and shows almond brioche and toasted almonds. Reminds me of the smells of Christmas season and this is a huge wine that needs some time. 2009 vintage.
