A dark garnet, the '09 Carlisle Zinfandel 'Martinelli Road Vineyard' exhibits seductive scents of red berries, violets and toasty oak. Concentrated flavors of spicy dark fruit with bracing notes of minerals are detectable on the palate. Full-throttled, but well-balanced with a massive finish.
