Terrapin Beer Co.

Up-Hi IPA

Having a new baby is amazing! It is, however, NOT an auto-segue back to wine bliss. Should’ve guessed. Instead I will enjoy some easy beer. Antique gold, white top that melts like a wicked witch to a homogenous island of fine grit standings. Peachy tangerine pretends it is apricot, but we’re on to it. Pink grapefruit, cherry and lime pith aromas. Orange peel, lemon slices, and more pink grapefruit on the palate with lime, and a little white pepper. A bitter streak is like lemongrass with dried orange peel, and a sheen of clove that gets light and mineral-textured, devolving into lime peel and pith. Very nice ipa for those with little time, in need of a quick lift. Way Up-Hi. — 6 years ago
