Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with flinty notes. On the palate of this simple wine, flavors of apple, lemon and citrus blossom with big acidity throwing off the balance a bit. Medium finish, ending with citrus and mineral character. Just ok!

This wasn't complex or profound or even particularly interesting but it was cool, crisp and exceptionally easy to drink. And that is what I wanted after a rough day in NTX.

Serviceable white on the cheap. Colombard/Chardonnay blend with a bit of white peach, pear and freshness.

Excellent choice of sort of sweet wine. Go for it if you don’t like dry wines

2015v. 80/20% colombard and chard. Straw gold color. Pleasant, round fruit and minerality on the nose. Lemon, citrus rind, and a nice medium weight on the mouth. A refreshing wave of acid clears the palette. Just a hint of smokiness is apparent on the finish. Overall, a great QPR (sub $9!). Nice for cheese, aperitif, and lighter fare (seafood, simple chicken) and would be even better in warmer weather! 12% ABV.
