Ok. Alan Viader made an excellent wine. Great spice and texture. Wonderful balance and multiple of layers and lengthy finish. Nice blue fruit. Yummmy.

The light glints off an oil slick. The palate and nose are ripe red cherries. The acid is fresh and prevalent. This is wine you chase cold years in Napa Valley.

53% Cab Sav, 47% Cab Franc, a nice blend that’s hitting its stride now. Viader an underrated Bordeaux-style Napa red.

Delia Viader is making wonderful Bordeaux style wines up on Howell Mountain (which is quickly becoming my favorite region...Dunn, ADAMVS, Arkenstone, Outpost...what's not to love?). She is a great inspiration to us all, and as you taste her wines, you can taste the brilliant acidity, firm tanins and the fruit is a early season strawberry and cassis.
