Outstanding red, and drinkable relatively quickly. I opted for a pricier red that was sold out and "settled" for this. I paired it with oxtail and lamb, and I found it to be a first-rate value. Why can't we get Portuguese reds like this in the US? I highly recommend it.

There's so much great wine from Portugal that never manages to cross the bay of Biscay and round the channel to UK shores. This is one great example of a really good blend for everyday drinking.
