For a $9.99 wine, it's not bad. Tastes metallic with salamis. Pretty good with blue cheese.

Strange wine, smells like sweet red fruits but tastes neither fruity nor earthy. Medium body, medium tannins and very high acidity. Tasted like a $6 bottle to me. This wine actually tasted way better cold because the acidity was neutralized and the fruitiness emerged.

Fine for under $10. A light chill lowers the perceived acidity and improves the balance greatly. Might be better with correct food pairing, but typical earthy Barbera notes are obviously lacking on its own.

Not going crazy in any direction of flavor. Needs decanting for sure.

Smokey, oaky, meaty scent. Very smooth, mild, with vanilla notes, bright fruit and berry.
