Clearance priced cheapie, but great value even at regular price. Deep purple in color. Buttery nose, good varietal character if initially light in flavor intensity - cherry-berry and some fig on finish. With more time, evolved into a cherry bomb. An easy drinking Zin that tastes like Zin

6 years in the bottle. Fruit-forward, aromas of blackberry jam, cherry, toast, vanilla, chocolate, cream, and leather. A hint of pepper. Smooth yet full tannins give a good, long finish.

I read a lot of folks speak of a smokey finish...it was more peppery to me but still very good. Was surprised at how good for the value as I bought the bottles on clearance at Target for $5 each. Should have bought them out!
