Valtenesi Chiaretto DOP 2013. This wine, from a well known winery, won two contest for rosé wines this year. Bottle tasted in June 2014. Very satisfying in the mouth, a little sweet (but it didn't bother me), but rich and persistent. I want more!!

Everyone hates on airport food and wine but I might have just found my favorite airport spot in the world. CRU at Terminal D in DFW! Wine is served at proper temp with proper wine ware! Lauren offered precise recommendations, favorable pours, and plenty of samples. This particular Italian Rosé was out of this world amazing. For starters, just look at the color, deep salmon. On the palate it’s got ripe strawberry, vibrant acidity, and a great finish. Cheers.
