Nose on it has a nice peppery note to it. Getting dark fruit smells like tart cherries. The color isn't too dark. On first sip, wow. Tastes so smooth. Feels balanced. Getting blackberries, currants and cherry. Getting pepper notes. Tannins are smooth too.

Full bodied, ripe black fruit nose, also cassis and tobacco. Medium intense, somewhat coarse tannin, medium finish. One of the nicer, full bodied reds from Canada.
