Red raspberry and cherry fruit. Black tea and a hint of licorice or fennel (reminiscent of absinthe after it opens up). Medium body, moderate tannins and acidity. Drinking really well, although there’s plenty of life left in this one. Regretting having only bought one of them.

Ripe strawberry, rose, raspberry, bit of black fruit, touch vegetal. Bay leaf, red meat. Fresh fruit plus some dried overripe fruit. Yummy organic leafiness I love in fine Riojas. Fantastic elegance. Mod tannin.
This wine has been evolving and opening up to its full expression for the past couple hours since the minute it was opened... Kinda sad it's just about gone now. Mmmm. $16 bottle. 91
