I expected higher tannins from this classic blending varietal but found for this young Petite Verdit that the tannins were milder than expected and well integrated

Exceptional. Yum, yum. Black currant, cloves, pepper. Aged 7 years and well worth it. At lake w/ Wilsons & Tim F.

Definitely needs to breathe before drinking. Good both after two hour decanting.

Big tannins, herbal, dark earthy flavors. Should go well with my smoked Gouda, jalapeño meatloaf.
