My first Rhone. It had a bold flavor. I liked it.

Great value. Took this down in two nights, easy. It is drinkable with more flavor than original bubble yum

An old favorite from Trader Joe's; a few years in the bottle have done this one well. Fruit is rounding off and shedding some fat. Still hearty but the structure is starting to emerge.

Rhone blend in a Cab aka Boudreaux bottle! What a faux pa! Label meets the criteria for critter labels. (Cute, not serious, and uninspired). Color is fire truck red meets a bit of black cherry. Smells like jams. Berry and cherry kind. Flavors are fine. Ripe and follows up on that jam thing. New World Grenache is the major grape flavor here. It improved with air. A CA red blend, but not too over-soaked with vanilla and caramel via oak and extended hang-time. It’s high alcohol and the flavors reflect ripe grapes, but it’s a drinkable red.

Picked up this wine due to it's intriguing label. Turns out: it's fairly good! Smooth, with no after taste and notes of amber and blackberry. De-lish. Bonus: affordable.

I've had a few amazing Rhone blends from Paso Robles. This one is not for me.
