So glad I waited 10 years for this, plenty of cassis notes, spicy finish, so well balanced and super soft tannins

Christmas Eve, Prime Rib dinner. Definitely improved as it opened up. Decanted 3 hours before drinking.

Well balanced and best when allowed to breathe a bit...this will allow the fullness and depth of this excellent wine to present itself!

At the winery. Big aroma of cherries/ chocolate. Dry and big tannins with a chewy thick taste and a king finish. Let it age and breathe and decant!

Tonight we are having Au Pied de Cochon’s tortière for dinner so I thought that this lovely Equuleus would pair nicely. At 11 years old, it is still quite young and has plenty of life remaining!

A decent wine, but there are better options in the area for the price point. A beautiful vineyard, but a bit presumptuous.

Fantastic meritage. Tannins have softened, great fruit concentration, and length.
