The ‘Lewis Vineyard’ Syrah by Dunham Cellars was aged in French oak puncheons prior to bottling. This outstanding wine utilized Phelps clone Syrah which was planted in the late 1990s. This shows a wonderful purity of fruit on the palate, with black fruits being dominant, alongside brilliant chocolate and earthy undertones Delicious now, this will cellar well for a decade or more. Drink 2019-2030- 93

Dunham cellars Lewis vnyrd Syrah circa 1999 - I've got more an better vintage depth on PacNW wines on Maui than I did in Oregon-go figure!

Pleasantly wonderful Syrah from a mainstay Vinyard that is historically key to Dunham’s success. Integrated fruit, touch of smoke.... lovely

Caramel buns on the nose, also subtle hints of cherry cola, long, smooth finish. Bold but not overbearing.

Single varietal 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon. Smells of dark cherry fruit, some vanilla. Tastes surprisingly light for a pure cab - light on tannins, balance of acidity.

Tasting aged, which is good, but still really tannic and not much else

2004 Dunham Cellars Syrah - Lewis Vinyard. Rattlesnake Hills. Very fruit forward. Lacking depth. Very simple wine.
