Really nice mature Marsannay with good color and nose of flowers and perfume underlined by earthy structure and autumn forest. A surprising sense of sweetness reflecting very ripe fruits mixed in with all that older Burg goodness on palate. Long finish. What a nice wine!

CVed 4/13/17. Prominent nose of earth and barnyard and mushroom. Good balance and finish. Sense of wild adventure.

CVed 3/7/17 after GL Moine Burg tasting. Nose of Forest floor and autumn leaves with savory funky notes. Balanced mid palate and minerals and dark floral notes carrying through to long finish.

Delicious. Lush is an understatement - this is a slutty Burg!

Already showing secondaries. More fruit on the palate than the nose projects. Light tannins and firm acidity.

Showing very well. Ripe dark fruit, some nice herbal/mineral notes, and good balance and length. Not the most elegant or nuanced wine, but very good value.
