Very mature tannins after 14 years. Loved it! Good balance, with a lot of elegance. Drank really well, but felt it might go over the hill from here.

80% Malbec 20% Syrah. This was my go to red in Mendoza a few years ago and it's still fresh as a daisy at 9 years old. Deceptively elegant for a 15% wine. You would think it was no more than 14% without reading the label. If only I brought back more.
