60 min decant, young, light tannins, med bodied. Nose, essentially closed, on the palate subdued Bing cherry, tar, smoke, wintergreen, smooth, nice balance between fruit and acidity. I had to really search for the good! 14.2% alc is a surprise given other expressions.
If I were critiquing an Old World style, wine..rating would be higher.
