Aromas of rose, cloves, and violet. Gorgeous palate with ripe black plum, allspice, blackberry, silky and soft (but present) tannins, and acid freshness. A real delight winner with lamb chops and this can go on for at least 3+ years.

Aromas of cinnamon, cassis, currant, thyme, oregano, soy, with a hint of brett. The palate carries the cassis and currant along with vanilla, orange zest, and deliciously refined tannins. Really good balance on this one with light tannins. Drink over the next 3 years.

New Year's Eve red with steak. One of the best posh French reds we have had.

A new St Emilion to me @ £40 in a top year that’s owned by Chanel 👜 👠 yes darling ✨ and it’s not bad, drinking good already & should improve. Many will like this style for sure if you like oak & bold fruit 😉 and it doesn’t have the Chanel price tag 😁

📍 Chateau Berliquet 2010

🏵 90 points

🍇 Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon

🍷 Opaque blackened ruby

👃 Rich oak dominated damson plum & black berry fruits w/ a touch of burnt smoke, gravel, minerals, soggy earth, bramble bush, blueberry, raspberry & mocha

👄 Med body of rich ripe black currant & berry w/ blueberry, raspberry, cocoa & minerals

🎯 Long touch mineral dry red & black fruit touch sweet punchy fruit hit w/ a woody oak dry linger

Another recommendation from Rouge & Blanc. Having for homemade anniversary dinner of pork chop with vegetables and rice. Very fall dish. Not sure if the best pairing, but lovely wine. Great time to drink the 2006: tannins soft and rounded. Great taste and light on the tongue.
