Not bad but didn’t integrate as much as I wanted

Spices plum, blackcherry, and tobacco. Dark fruits abound on the palate with dry, chalky tannins that are still just firm enough. This is perfect pizza wine. Purchase this bottle at the winery in 2017. Drink now.

Perfect pasta/pizza wine. Typical dolcetto dark fruit profile, good acidity and supporting tannins. This lacks just a bit of that mid palate stuffing to make it great. I think this is actually better balanced than 2015 even it's lighter in body and should improve in next 6+ months

Dark and brooding dolcetto. Excellent pairing for bit heftier pizza or pasta. This reminds me that I'd need to drink more Dolcetto

Brought home from a winery visit in September... rich plums, dark berry fruit, subtle spice and oak undertones. Fresh, juicy, clean and more modern in style. Ripe, forest berry fruit jumps from the glass. Finish over delivers. Better with a little air.

Summer red drinking time.

What a bizarre Dolcetto - so much fruit on the nose, almost none in the mouth. Very nice with all kinds of noshes...
