This wine from Mendoza presents a deep purple colour and pronounced aromas of blackberry and plum. It has a blackberry taste, a hint of mocha and a touch of oak that is quite pleasant. I did find it a little tannic needing an hour to open up and smooth out making it noticeably smoother. It probably needs another year or so horizontal. Are there better Malbec's out there yes would I buy this one again yes.
