Woulda totally fooled me in a blind tasting. Decent aromatics but really showed itself in the palate. Cool stuff.

Little drier than a typical Spatlese, but nice and well rounded. She's bilingual.

Great tribute to Germany. RS and acid levels about right for a warm vintage, half-dry Spät. Good varietal character, even a bit of petrol. Slightly advanced; don't see this improving beyond a few years. Crushed it next to Thai curry!

2015 wow and wow, punches above its price, refreshing and bracing, lingers in the mouth for a full minute. Puts Santa Barbara on the Riesling map, big time.

Brightening and peach aromatics, wow loads of sugar but the acidity balances it perfectly. Caramelized and wonderful with a golden color showing it's slight aging. Smooth and a nice mouthful sitting on the pallet.

Delicious. Aromas of fruit and salty air. Great acidity with flavors of melon, lychee, and roses. Great minerality. Love this.
