From magnum. The wine barrel aging is prevalent. Truly enjoyable.

Could stand to lose a couple percent alcohol for me but nicely done overall

Funky

Slightly boozy. But treads the wine beer line nicely. Wild.

Oak oak oak. But not too oak

Great balance, close to Duchesse, funk and sweet nose

I did not care for this beer. The initial sweet smell from the head had me very excited. Until I tasted it. The added bitterness from the red wine barrel aging is not my cup of tea.

One of Allagash's best offerings. Caramel and plum with great funk, tannins, and acidity. This is a special beer.

Apricot and spiced bread with nice Brett finish
