An excellent Chianti. From Magnum ordered at the (very personal and friendly) winery. Strong backbone that need decanting to further soften the tannins. Great food wine.

There is something terribly wrong with this wine or perhaps this bottle. Literally smelled like grapefruit/NZ SB. Volatility outside the realm of reasonable. And slightly oxidative on the palate. One cluster fuck of a CC.

暑いビンテージだが、しっかりバランスが取れているし重奏的。そして何より、鮮やかなスミレやベリーの香りが口いっぱいに広がって、旨味もたっぷり。
そして少し熟成感も。
この作り手は少し酸化気味にさせるのかも知れない。

2年のバックビンテージだが、その割には少し熟成香がある。
バルサミックな感じ。
瑞々しく甘美なフルーツ。
口にすると、垂直的な酸の後に、膨よかな果実味が広がって、きめ細かいタンニンが締める。
なんというか、口の中でのストーリーも抜群だ。
ちなみに、なんの表記もないがビオディナミで自然酵母発酵らしい。

Absolutely love this wine. Classic expression of Chianti, very complex fruit and spicyness. Despite being from a warmer vintage it has retained very alluring freshness.

Amazed to see such low reviews for previous years - the 2014 is spectacular. Drinkable from the opening, and beautiful throughout. Underripe cherry, overripe strawberry, a pronounced lingering acid, but very delicious overall. I would highly recommend this vintage.
