A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%) that shows concentrated berry aromas and flavors. Not jammy or sweet. The supporting notes of violet, cocoa powder, a definite mineral presence along with a hint of espresso bring balance, and the mouth-coating texture and serious structure make this a wine worthy of a higher price tag than it possesses. Perfect for just about anything on your dinner menu, but incredibly delicious with an aged Cheddar – especially in the form of homemade mac-and-cheese."
Great with spicy brown-sugar glazed grilled salmon.
