What I've discovered with everything named Brookdale that I've encountered in my life hold true with this wine -- attempts to be upper class when it's middle, has some very positive aspects but nothing special. This wine - smaller body, vanilla and a hint of oak. Not overly complex. At $25 would drink often. At $60 is out of its league
