Seems like infanticide even with 12 years on it. Reticent at first but became quite floral with time in the glass. Surprising elegance for a Charmes. Not as muscular as I was expecting. A pleasant surprise. 93+ — 7 years ago
Wonderful bouquet. Well weighted palate. Black olive, tapenade, bitter blackberry. Relatively soft tannin. Nice finish. Good wine but just a baby! 92+ — 8 years ago
Simple but enjoyable. Sort of like a Riesling and a Gruener Veltliner has a night of passion and it was raised by a Pinot Gris.. curious Croatian wine!! — 6 years ago
Love this producer. Just wish this wine wasn't so difficult to track down. My last bottle. It is a monster yet doesn't feel heavy? Go figure. Nectar of the gods. Complexity is there but probably needs time to show itself - for me, I love drinking it in youth and am already having to slap my hands to keep them of the 2014's. Highly recommended to anyone whom loves Montrachet but doesn't love the price. Except if you live in Sydney, in that case please don't buy my allocation! 😂. 95pts but would be 100/100 for enjoyment. — 7 years ago
Wow! So much in the glass here. Bright and vibrant. But if depth n complexity to the red fruit with fine spice. Rosso at its best. 92, but more enjoyable than that. — 8 years ago
Is there anything Huet can't make? Probably not. Wish I had more patience with this one. Was still fantastic mind you. — 7 years ago
One of my favourite wines, ever. The 2007 in particular is beautiful. Has the effortless class of a Burgundy with sour cherries and terrific balance. The length and power is awesome. So much class. What a wine. Will live and live from a classic year. 96pts — 7 years ago
