Solid wine. Nice fruit flavors but with a good grounding of mineral. — 6 years ago
An excellent jammy Pinot to treat yourself with. This is a good smith Pinot that I would treat anyone with as a gift. — 10 years ago
.@ClarkRSmith I'm very impressed with this and look forward to trying more. — 12 years ago
Still really nice, but I think not for much longer. Much better with food than on its own. — 6 years ago
Absolutely delicious Oregon Pinot Noir. Crisp bright, lots of cranberry with a nice balance of acid and tannin. A bit different from most cool climate Pinots but different in a very good way Shout out to Todd Smith at The Winesmith in St Pete, FL for offering this wine at a great price. You can always count on Todd for great wines reasonably priced. — 10 years ago
Lovely (though not $100 lovely) the tannins on this are still pretty burly for a 9 year old wine. It's got some guts, no doubt about that. I will say there is a remarkable consistency in the mouthfeel of the Winesmith wines. They have heft but are never harsh. The tannins range from "melty" (using Clark's terminology here - I would put the Planet Pluto posted earlier in this category) to "firm" (this wine). Yet there is a family resemblance. They're certainly well made. — 12 years ago

Very tasty wine I never would have considered but Todd Smith the Winesmith recommended it. — 9 years ago
Good fruit, nice balance, fine tannins. Excellent overall. — 12 years ago
Described by Clark as being Chablis-like. Maybe.... But really delicious whether or not it hit that particular mark — 12 years ago

Yea still that funky notes on nose but otherwise a good balanced Syrah with characteristic meatiness and spice. Yes, first try at Clark Smith music pairing playlist using Petit Sirah, what fun! — 3 years ago
