Tasting from Heidelberg at the Taste of Dine Originals event.
Fantastic!
Clean. Fresh. I normally don't "do" pinot grigio, but I'd buy a case of this — 9 years ago
To be honest it was the beautiful drawing which lured me to buing this. As a graphic novel fan this spoke to me. At the start a bit thrown off by the smokey flavour. Then it grows on me. Juicy flavours of berries, herbs and oak — 3 years ago
His estate wine aka the least expensive at 20 bucks or so. For the money this is one of the best Rieslings one can buy!!! It falls may be a little short on complexity but still this is quite amazing. The 14 is herbaceous salty and quite dry. Passionfruit for sure i have these in my garden so trust me on that. If you ever come across his GG's for 100$ or so they are in a different perhaps own league. And if you visit Heidelberg rent a car and stop in the village ca. 1
hour away - last time i tasted with him about 20 wines and the tasting is free! Not only that there are at least two other good wineries in the village. — 7 years ago
