Blend of Grenache, Shiraz and other grapes of Australia, shipped to U.S. in chilled containers, reportedly maintaining freshness…aged in French Oak, bottled in 2018 - vintage is simply Red Schooner 1. In any event, the process produced a rich, full-bodied, big fruit but balanced wine with managed tannins…many attributes…better than several of Caymus own labeled wines. — 5 months ago

On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes.
