Nice with the JJ Cubano — 3 months ago
Caymus-Wagoner family signature on this fine wine with Australian grapes and Caymus California wine-making. Blend of Grenache, Shiraz and other grapes of Australia, shipped to U.S. in chilled containers, reportedly maintaining freshness…aged in French Oak, bottled in 2018 - vintage is simply Red Schooner 1. In any event, the process produced a rich, full-bodied, big fruit but balanced wine with managed tannins…many attributes…better than several of Caymus own labeled wines. — 5 months ago

Golden hue. Plus body and medium acidity. Aromas and flavors of apricot, golden raisins, honey, marmalade, and orange. Jammy and sweet, like orange soda without the fizz. Absurdly drinkable. — 5 months ago
Pretty smooth. Enjoyed at East end gathering — 7 months ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 21 days ago
