Fresh and vibrant VJ. Lemon-zesty, linear style, needs years — 10 years ago
Spois VJ 2008: lighter, fresher, gentle oxidation. Elegant, minerally, fresh, good Phoenilc grip. Apple, melon, light coconut, but. 92 — 10 years ago
Barrel fermented goodness! Stunning blanc de blanc with fruit coming from Cramant, Avize, and Chouilly, 5 years on it’s lees with about 20% reserve wine.
Composed, balanced, slightly rich still maintaining great acid. I’ve been a fan of this small family run winery for many years and after visiting them I’ll continue to fly the VJ flag! — 6 years ago

Really lovely Vin Jaune that - like all of Montbourgeau’s offerings - leans toward delicateness and subtlety over boldness and power. Floral and full of green fruits alongside the nuttiness and pronounced salinity. Pale color and much less jaune than most. Unique and refreshing - not a frequent VJ descriptor. Worth seeking out. — 6 years ago
