Fresh, delicate, complex, pleasant and drinkable wine with strong character. 
Aged 3 months in steel tanks, 2 months in bottle.
Straw yellow colored with green hues, Aquilae is made of Grillo grape grown in Sicily only. 
Huge spectrum of flavors on the nose - lime, green apple, almond, chamomile and withered grass. In mouth it's nicely dry with touch of saline minerality and clear accents of lemon, passionfruit and herbs.
 Intense mouthcoating finish with smooth acidity and hints of mixed citrus and green gooseberry. Refreshing, intense and persistent - breathtaking wine! Highly recommended to pair with grilled monkfish with cheese or sicilian “beccaficu” sardines... sitting on seashore of Mediterranean )) — 8 years ago
