Boom! Great drink for the price! Dark chocolate and cherries. Big and dry and balanced — 8 years ago
Dark ruby color with some slight browning. Aromas of ripe black cherry, tobacco, violets and dried herbs. Flavors of kirsch, black cherry, roasted nuts and chocolate. Medium length smoky finish. Crisp acidity with firm but well integrated tannins. I was expecting a powerhouse but this wine is all about finesse. So beautifully balanced. Quite enjoyable! — 2 months ago

Decent Chianti with traditional Sangiovese taste, nose. Pared well with pasta, steak and a variety of foods. Drank 2015 vintage in 2020. Tannins are settling in nicely — 5 years ago

After reading the ratings for this year my expectations were very low. Opened boldly after decanting. Lots of flavor with very little tannins. I noted the cork was tightly sealed in the bottle so this could insure the longevity of this wine. — 7 days ago
