Dark ruby color with some slight browning. Aromas of ripe black cherry, tobacco, violets and dried herbs. Flavors of kirsch, black cherry, roasted nuts and chocolate. Medium length smoky finish. Crisp acidity with firm but well integrated tannins. I was expecting a powerhouse but this wine is all about finesse. So beautifully balanced. Quite enjoyable! — 22 days ago
