The nose is very prominent, with both beautiful prominent salinity opening into baked notes of glazed doughnut, amber, candied pecans, cumquat and lemon preserves. The palate is very different, with a light acidity and prominent yellow fruit notes especially ripe lemon. The flavor then evolves into something both nuttier and more vegetal with a loooong finish that lasts forever with a freshness, citrus and minerality that comes from a volcanic island wine.
