Boutique winery in Maipu Mendoza, that also owns vineyards in Uco Valley. This is a 100% Malbec. It’s the most full bodied, complex Malbec I have ever tasted. Fermented in egg shaped barrels. Dark berries, blackcurrant, heavy tannins, and smooth, well structured finish. Just amazing. — 7 years ago

2011 vintage. Cabernet Franc from Maipu. Trapiche Fincas. Deep purple hue. Leather, oak, deep dark fruits (black plum and blackberry) and earthy notes. Inviting. Vanilla essence. On the palate, smooth as silk, medium plus alcohol and tannins - smooth and ripe. Medium minus acidity and medium plus finish. Very moreish. Good example of its type. — 9 years ago
100% Petit Verdot from Maipu, Chile. Perez Cruz is only 1 of 4 producers doing this. — 11 years ago
Very good Malbec because of its combination of frute and acidity. The bodega is located in heaven!; natural surroundings are much more attractive than those in the famous (Malbec) Maipu valley near Mendoza — 6 years ago
