Medium ruby in color; cherries, cedar, and plums on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like tomato leaf, strawberry jam, clovs, and raspberries with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it, but I think it's really good. Lots of red fruit flavor from the Sangiovese and rounded out by 10% Merlot. — 3 months ago

I was extremely pleased with this wine. I don't have a lot of experience with chianti but after aerating for a solid hour, this wine offered a very satisfying sour cherry note and considerable depth that made a steak that much more enjoyable. I would absolutely purchase again. — 5 years ago

For whatever reason, this particular bottling has been my least favorite of the various Zinfandel vintage and vineyard combinations I’ve had from Bedrock. Don’t get me wrong - t’s certainly fine. It just doesn’t grab me beyond that. — 5 years ago
