Wow. This is incredible. Been in the cellar about 6+ years and perfectly timed crack. It looks medium bodied but it is rich and full! Completely mellowed out the tannins, rich dried fruit, caramelized berries, some pepper but less than I'd expect from a cab franc. The appassimento sweetness is there and the oak balances it all. Cherry and pomegranate on the pallet dark cherry and pink starburst on the finish. Very balanced for acid and tannins. Fabulous wine will definitely be getting more of this. — 8 months ago

Candied, gelatinous orange slices, caramel apple, heavy oak masking vanilla until lemon oil rises up like smoke to obfuscate all but a maple-y burnt sugar aroma. Creamy bourbon into an almost brandy Alexander that explodes with pumpkin purée and accompanying pie spices. Gets very smoky, and peppery in a molé manner. Overly rich with brown sugar, burnt toast, coriander, orange bitters, marshmallow, Anaheim pepper, tree bark, allspice, rosemary, and a slew of other spices. A lot to finish with. Whew!!
