Wine of the night! Just barely. Two great wines over steak dinner. Black and blue fruit shine with a juicy scent. Perfectly balanced. Acidity just right med +. Absolutely incredible. The Vineyardist is one of my favorite Napa producers. This 2017 Calarcadia is drinking excellent now. Dark ruby. High alcohol barely noticeable. Red and black fruit. Perfectly ripe and perfectly balanced with chalky tannins. Graphite, pencil shavings, fantastic mouthfeel and oh what a long finish. Incredible effort for a tough 2017. — 6 months ago
