Sonoma Valley Grenache Rosé 2018

@Delectable Wine this is the Grenache PetNat from this producer. It was not in the database. Really interesting PetNat. And, probably second to the Westminister Pet-Nat from Maryland that went out into left field with their recent bottling. This one is delicious. A hint of bubbles. Consistent on the very front with some lemon and honeycrisp apple. Pears and peach invade the middle. A little yeasty towards the finish. Very enjoyable. Would be an excellent light sparkler to enjoy on a 100 degree day. These are in no way meant to cellar, so pop the bottlecap on this one and enjoy this awesome little Pet-Nat from Grenachista. — 5 years ago

Dry Creek Valley Grenache Noir 2016

This is a nice Grenache from Dry Creek Valley in California.

Showing red and black fruits with earth, wood, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Very nice nose. Easy drinking with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Fine grained tannins on the finish with tangy cranberries.

Could use a few more years in the bottle to mature, but already drinking very nicely now.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

The Grenachista Alder Springs Grenache Noir 2016

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, sweet strawberries, raspberries, wood, spices, earth, light vanilla, tobacco, coffee and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet strawberries, wood, vanilla, cloves, herbs, earth, tobacco, coffee, light vegetables, chocolates, peppercorn and spices.

Medium plus in length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very enjoyable Grenache from Sonoma valley. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows the tannins (60 minutes).

Tastes like a good quality Côte du Rhône red. Spicy and fruit forward.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and cured meats.

14.6% alcohol by volume.
