What an awesome blend of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carignan.
Dark ruby in color with a deep purple rim.
Gorgeous on the nose with wild flowers, cherries, oak, currents, light vanilla, figs, black pepper, blueberries, spices and licorice.
Full-bodied and elegant.
Dry, spicy and fruity on the palate, with figs, cherries, black currants, blueberries, blackberries, oak, dirt, licorice and chocolate.
Long finish with nice, big, round tannins and black pepper.
Very nice, balanced, high quality wine. Will be even better in 3 to 5 years.
Aged for 24 months in French oak.
14% alcohol by volume. — 9 years ago
Somek Estate. Haderech Halevana. A blend of Roussanne, Chenin Blanc and Viognier.
Grapes from around the town of Zichron Yakov.
Aromatic with pronounced yeast notes, round and sophisticated on the palate. A serious white that went well with spicy fish.

Somek Estate winery, Kerem 13. A GSM blend. Medium body, red berries noticed especially strawberry and some mild smokiness attributes. This wine has its unique characteristics, not similar to the south of France blend. — 3 years ago
