Yet again a great match for Sakana with Hsing/Mimi but this time Vollenweider provided good competition. The Omakase was same as last time, last day of the monthly menu so a good comp. Thought the food was actually a bit off compared to previous time but still what a great combo with the wines. — 2 years ago
In Dublin hotel dinner brought by Hsing. Well made new world Aussie Shiraz with fruity well balanced nose of red fruits and cherry. Silky smooth texture for this style and long finish. — 5 years ago

Phillips steak dinner with Hsing ET opened before food. Very attractive floral nose and good balance and velvety palate. Not paired as well as Jordan’s Cab. Needs more aging. — 2 years ago

First encounter with Hsing. Philly cheesesteak. Beautiful nose of sage dark fruits violets. Lively texture. Almost old world. Turns out to be part of series AA and old bottle of it’s kind but with other vineyards. — 2 years ago
