Spicy and woody. I liked it a lot. — a year ago
A very competent Rioja Reserva recommended by an Argentine friend for tapas meal out. Bright & confident in its cherry & vanilla notes, with enough barrel age to round it out & give some balsamic- as in aged, quality balsamic-depth. Kind of like a haircut that doesn’t surprise or disappoint. And a decent restaurant bottle under 40$ is always a good thing… — 3 years ago

50/50 blend of Syrah and Monastrell. Dark purple/black color. Aromas of dark fruit, black pepper and charred oak. Black berry/cherry/currant/plum fruit on palate with hints of baking spices, minerals and coffee. Pleasant vanilla note on the long finish. Hefty and full bodied with crisp acidity and chewy tannins. Big, dry, bold and opulent. — 2 years ago
Quite nice. Rich but not overwhelming. Smooth with a bit of nice complexity and bit of peppery bite on the tail. — 5 years ago
