Blackberry, ripe cherry, cedar, leather, dark chocolate, wild mushroom sautee. Great intensity, youthful, expressive. Full body, velvety on palate, good balance, not too oaky. Will age very well. — 9 years ago

Gorgeous right now. Floral, stone fruits, some herbals, huge mineral and sea air. Just so clean and effusive. Palate is lean with flavors of sugar snap peas, sweet yellow zucchini that is a skoche caramelized from high heat brief sautee and finished almost gamey. So rich yet so lean on the finish creates a nice contrast. Really nice amplitude and texture. Nice sap on the finish. Salty now. Compelling and complex. — 2 years ago
