Tecce is one of my favorite Italian producers. The 2022 Satyricon doesn’t disappoint. Opens up after 3-4 hours. Dried flowers, cherries and charcoal on the nose. Tart cranberries with blackberries. Sharp minerality, mouth-puckering tannins, astringent, dusty and savory long finish. Very long. Super dry. Young. 14.5% abv, but it doesn’t feel overly full or heavy. I remember the 2020 being darker and more fruit-forward, but I could be wrong. — 8 hours ago
I loved the Tecce Satyricon, so I bought this without realizing it was a rosato. But it’s a good one! Full (14% abv) so much better with food. I tried it with a recent Ottolenghi recipe in the Guardian - tofu with broccoli and spicy peanut oil. Very nice. — a year ago
