Sainsbury - Very very nice. — 7 years ago
Picked this up at Sainsbury for £7, really nice red for the price. — 8 years ago
Astonishingly good wine. Most guides tell you to pay more than £8 at least and that's wise, but this tipple was infinitely better than the Malbec reserve that set me back £9 from sainsbury. It's silky, deep, vanilla-cherry and unctuous. Can't see through the liquid, buy it by the case before the maker twigs. — 9 years ago
Had it with camembert. Sainsbury full bodied. Nick also likes. — 6 years ago

Former winemaker for sainsbury made the 94 Pinot reserve and many other Stellar wines Byron kosugi is a rockstar that is under the radar this particular serve as one of the few California sore eyes that actually tastes like it might be from France across Armitage or similar at least it was early on at this point the fruit is solid and drinking well but a little less of the animal or sauvage tendencies that it had in its you still drinking fabulously and a great value — 9 years ago
Classic Rioja. Still purple, mid transparent. Plum, raspberry, vanilla, oak, spice. Dry, mid+ acidity, mid- dissolved tannin, round body. Fruit dried, oaky flavour filled, acidity stand outs to some extent, classics. Surprising price of £13 (Sainsbury Taste the difference). abv13.5 — 7 years ago
