Rubissow

Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

This showed very well! A delightfully "lighter" Cabernet. — 2 months ago

Corison

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

It won the battle of 2004 Napa Cabs by beating out Rubissow. Classic Corison Cab! Bottle was open for an hour for air. Had that distinct, fruit forward flavor. Refined yet deep. I could easily pick this out from a blind tasting as it is so unique. Great juice!!

Third of the blind Napa Valley Mountain reds. Deep garnet red. Dark fruit on the attack with solid minerality throughout. Heavy tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Layered palate with dark mountain berries, spices, forest floor, dark cocoa, black currants and sweet spices. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2025. — 3 years ago

Rubissow

Mount Veeder Merlot 2006

I thought it was on its last legs. Casey liked it a lot more. — 7 years ago

Loads of sediment and tartric acid crystals. We had them decant for us at dinner to ditch some of the sediment, but the wine needed no time to open up.

I would buy the N&N Harris Vineyard Merlot instead of this 10 times out of ten.
