Drinking well. Great food, company & conversation at The Waterside Inn, Bray avec Christian Fischer, et Pere et Fils Roux.....life is good!! — 10 years ago
This is the best French wine I have ever had! 2013 Roux Pere and Fils : Gevrey-Chambertin, Vieilles Vignes. Since I am brand new to French wine, I have no idea what this is. It is light in color like a Oregon pinot noir. The bouquet is English Lavender. The initial palate is tart cherries and raspberries. The finish is quick and spicy. No oak. No tart finish! Just clean fresh and mildly dry. WOW This is amazing. This is in my opinion, a French pinot noir better than the US pinots by far. — 8 years ago

Strawberry, gentle aroma with fineness. Plum. Oak. Fresh. Earthy. Body. Acidity. Stabilized after 2 hours.
Ample aroma with elegant strawberry fruity sweetness. Stabilized on 2nd day. Good concentration, juicy. Feel spicy and herbaceous slightly. 3rd day, still good and keeping the same.
