This is the best French wine I have ever had! 2013 Roux Pere and Fils : Gevrey-Chambertin, Vieilles Vignes. Since I am brand new to French wine, I have no idea what this is. It is light in color like a Oregon pinot noir. The bouquet is English Lavender. The initial palate is tart cherries and raspberries. The finish is quick and spicy. No oak. No tart finish! Just clean fresh and mildly dry. WOW This is amazing. This is in my opinion, a French pinot noir better than the US pinots by far. — 7 years ago
Moreau's only non-Domaine wine hence Christian Moreau Pere et Fils. Partially Domaine Moreau Estate fruit and partially Les Pargues lieu-dit. — 9 years ago
